Flexible payment options to support access to care

Aeros is a private pay telehealth only practice, which means we do not bill insurance directly and services are rendered on a secure telehealth platform. This allows for greater flexibility, privacy, and control over your care—free from diagnostic requirements, session limits, or restrictions placed by insurance companies. It supports a more personalized and collaborative therapy experience tailored to your goals.

Payment Policy and Sliding Scale Fee Agreement

Standard Fees

Free 15-Minute Consultation: No charge

Individual Psychotherapy Session (50 minutes): $120

Diagnostic Evaluation (60 Minutes): $150

Self-pay clients typically begin therapy with a 50-minute psychotherapy session. Assessment, goal setting, and understanding your needs develop collaboratively over the first few sessions. A formal diagnosis may be discussed if helpful, but is not required to begin services.

Sliding Scale Option

A limited number of sliding scale spots are available based on household income and financial need. Schedule a free consultation to determine availability.  Sliding scale range for services: $60 - $120.

Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service. Aeros accepts payment via credit card, HSA/FSA, or other pre-approved electronic payment systems. A payment method must be applied to secure telehealth platform. Payment for service is for scheduled time reserved -- this means that full session fee is charged for the scheduled time whether you utilize the full length of a scheduled session time or not. Cancellation fee may be applied to no shows or cancellations giving less than 24 hours notice. There is no fee for an initial 15-minute consultation.

 Superbills

A superbill is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company to request reimbursement for therapy services. Aeros Mental Health LLC is a self-pay practice, but many clients in Pennsylvania use superbills to access their out-of-network benefits.

A superbill includes the information insurers require under PA and federal guidelines, such as:

  • Your name and date of birth

  • Your therapist’s credentials, license, and NPI

  • Dates of service, CPT codes, and diagnosis codes

  • Fees paid for each session

How Superbills Work in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania allows clients to submit claims directly to their insurance for out-of-network mental health services. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, your insurer may reimburse you directly after reviewing your claim. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual plan.

What to Expect at Aeros Mental Health LLC

  1. Sessions are paid at the time of service.

  2. Superbills are provided monthly or upon request.

  3. You submit the superbill to your insurance plan.

  4. Your insurer determines whether you qualify for reimbursement.

A diagnosis code is required on all superbills. If you’re unsure how to submit one, I’m happy to walk you through the process. Clients are responsible for making sure their insurance provider plan offers reimbursement for OON psychotherapy/counseling.
