Flexible payment options to support access to care

Aeros Mental Health is a private-pay, telehealth-only practice. We do not bill insurance directly.

This model allows for:

  • Greater privacy and discretion
     
  • No session limits imposed by insurance
     
  • Flexibility in treatment length and goals
     
  • Care that is collaborative and tailored to you
     

You are not required to receive a diagnosis to begin therapy unless you plan to use out-of-network insurance benefits.


Standard Fees

Free 15-Minute Consultation
No charge. A brief call to determine fit and answer questions.


Initial Intake Session (50 minutes): $120
Clinical assessment, treatment planning, and orientation to services.


Individual Psychotherapy Session (50 minutes): $120
Ongoing therapy focused on individualized goals, skill development, and emotional growth.


Extended Diagnostic Evaluation (60 minutes): $150
Used when formal diagnostic clarification or documentation is required.

Most clients begin with a standard 50-minute session. Assessment and goal-setting develop collaboratively over the first few appointments.


Sliding Scale Option


A limited number of sliding scale spots are available based on financial need.

Sliding scale range: $60–$120

Payment Terms


 Payment is due at the time of service.
 

  • Credit cards, HSA/FSA, and approved electronic payments are accepted.
     
  • A payment method is required to reserve telehealth appointments.
     
  • Sessions are reserved time. The full session fee applies whether the full time is used or not.
     
  • A cancellation fee may apply for no-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice.
     

There is no charge for the initial 15-minute consultation.


Out-of-Network Reimbursement (Superbills)


Although Aeros does not bill insurance directly, many clients choose to use their out-of-network benefits.

A superbill is a detailed receipt you submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Superbills include:


  • Therapist credentials and license information
     
  • Dates of service
     
  • CPT codes
     
  • Diagnosis code (required by insurance)
     
  • Fees paid
     

How It Works

  1. You pay for your session at the time of service.
     
  2. A superbill is provided monthly or upon request.
     
  3. You submit it to your insurance provider.
     
  4. Your insurer determines reimbursement eligibility based on your plan.
     

Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual insurance benefits. Clients are responsible for verifying out-of-network coverage.
